Frustrated with carnivorous plants looking like this and always dying on you?
|
 |
 |
Grow beautiful carnivorous plants using the secrets we've been using here at our nursery...
without a greenhouse or terrarium!
|
If you want Venus Flytraps, Pitcher Plants and Sundews that will grow for you year after year after year, you need this information, otherwise, you will be spending a lot of time and money killing plant after plant and wondering what you're doing wrong.
This is why we decided to share with you our secrets of growing carnivorous plants. We've seen too many first-time growers struggle keeping their plants alive. Then they give up. Even if they did their own research on how to grow carnivorous plants, they still ended up with dead plants because of faulty information found all over the internet.
Too many websites and books contain outdated information
that are full of errors, myths and misconceptions.
Even Martha Stewart's Living Magazine, Sunset's Western Garden Book and many other garden books written by "garden experts" contain the same myths and misconceptions about carnivorous plants!
If you continue following their advice, you will always have weak plants, and you will never experience the sheer beauty that these plants have to offer.
• If you want pitcher plants that rival the beauty of any orchid or rose...
• If you want your carnivorous plants to flower year after year...
• If you want a sundew that almost drips with dew...
Then we have no doubt in our minds that the secrets contained in our e-book will work for you, regardless of where you live!
Thank you for your wonderful e-book! Instead of cash in the trash, now I'm enjoying my beautiful carnivorous plants.
Sam E. of Tamarac, Florida USA |
The CD is great! It is precisely the information I have been looking for.... How to grow them, not just a rehash of all the other books out there that tell you what they look like and descriptions on where they grow.

Secrets to Growing
Beautiful Carnivorous Plants
for Your Home and Garden
(Version 1.2)
|
Are bugs necessary?
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being most important), bugs rate a 2 in regards to plant care. Forget the bugs and focus on what really makes carnivorous plants grow.
Aren't carnivorous plants tropical?
The most common carnivorous plants found in cultivation are native to the United States, including Canada! If you treat these plants as if they were tropical plants, you will never grow them to their full potential. These plants should be grown outdoors, even in winter!
Don't carnivorous plants require high humidity?
Too many growers brood over humidity, yet they don't realize that constant high humidity kills more plants than lower humidity. Ditch the terrarium and you will have removed half of your obstacles to healthy carnivorous plants, but read the e-book for the necessary steps to acclimate your plants properly!
Shouldn't Venus Flytraps be grown in terrariums?
Using a terrarium will turn temperate perennials, such as Venus Flytraps and Pitcher Plants, into disposable plants. Don't get suckered by nurseries that want you to buy their plants over and over. With the right growing instructions, you need to buy Venus Flytraps and Pitcher Plants only once. It is not uncommon for them to live 10+ years! And you can easily propagate more!
Aren't carnivorous plants just plain delicate?
Carnivorous plants are as tough as roses. In fact, if you can grow roses and other common garden perennials, you can easily grow carnivorous plants. Carnivorous plants are extremely resilient and bounce back from rhizome division, root cuttings and leaf cuttings. We'll show you how to propagate your own carnivorous plants.
Shouldn't carnivorous plants be protected from frost?
Many carnivorous plants require winter dormancy. While dormant, these plants can tolerate freezing temperatures. Use any of the 6 methods to safely winterize your carnivorous plants.
Carnivorous plants can't possibly grow in the desert, can they?
You will be very surprised how tough carnivorous plants are. We have many customers who grow their plants in the desert. Use our 8 tips and you will have your own oasis of carnivorous plants... outdoors!
Don't you have to use only distilled water or rainwater?
Too many growers fret needlessly about the purity of their water. In reality, many carnivorous plants are tolerant of hard water. If you have hard water, we'll show you what you can do to minimize its effects.
What about soil?
If you add this common ingredient to your soil mix, you will kill your plants. Use our very simple, 2-ingredient soil recipe that grows beautiful carnivorous plants.
What about sunlight?
When it comes to sunlight, definitely avoid this very common mistake. Even if you choose to use artificial lights, don't be fooled with terms like plant light or full-spectrum. Look for wattage. If your lights are not bright enough, you will have weak unhealthy plants soon enough.
So, what is the one way to grow carnivorous plants?
There is no single method of growing all 600+ species of carnivorous plants. Your overall success depends on your ability to select the right plants for your home and garden. We'll show you how to do that with our unique Carnivorous Plant Finder.
These Venus Flytraps, Pitcher Plants and Sundews are part of our private collection. At the time the photo was take in 2003, these plants were grown exclusively outdoors in Portland, Oregon since 1997.
We'll show you how to grow carnivorous plants just as stunning as these without a greenhouse or terrarium!

Yeah, it's definitely worth the money. Most or least a lot of these plants grow right in the ditches around where I live in the Florida panhandle. But the plethoras of actual growing requirements have eluded me - until now.
